FAQS

Suspending a Partner

A Partner can only be suspended if the Partnership Agreement says that he or she can be suspended, otherwise the Partnership is governed by statute, either the Partnership Act 1890 or the LLP Act 2000.  In these cases it is not possible to suspend a partner but it may be possible to issue a dissolution notice and effectively suspend the partner pending dissolution or other agreement.

If you have a Partnership Agreement we can review it for you and suggest the best way forward.
